A little tight on the crop on the left side and a bit more foreground would help the composition. To provide some more form for the vase, perhaps integrate some of the texture and shadow of the crumpled paper inside. Try to omit contour lines on the objects and instead create edges through the application of value. Value application on the drop cloth looks pretty consistent and contrast is good.
